At Amore Bakery we love a challenge and when the Sky News team came to us asking for promotional cupcakes, featuring cut-outs of recent political figures, we had to scratch our heads to figure out how to do it.
Promotional Cupcakes to Impress
We started off making sure that whatever we did the branded cupcakes tasted terrific. We have a custom recipe here, so our cupcakes taste as good as they look. Sky News opted for a vanilla cupcake and white vanilla icing, so the figures were the focus of the cupcakes.
We added classic blue cupcake cases, to tie in with the look of the cupcakes.
Custom Printed Logos on Cupcakes
Next, we had to figure out how to get the figures on the cakes. First, we found pictures of the politicians, printed and cut them on our state of the art food printers, so all we had hundred of edible cupcake toppers.
We also printed the Sky News’ logo to add to each of the cupcakes.
The most important part was getting the figures to stand up for the whole journey. Luckily even Teresa kept her head the whole way.
Cupcakes delivered to your door
Once we produced the personalised cupcakes, we hand-delivered them straight to the doors of Sky News, so they arrive in perfect condition for their corporate event. We use our Tesla cars, to ensure that all our deliveries have a minimum impact on the environment.
After the event Sky News let us know how impressed they were with their amazing cupcakes and how much the team loved them.
It was our first time producing political promotional cupcakes, but they made an impact at an important event.
