Royal Icing is perfect to mould into shapes, ice biscuits and decorate cakes with. We’ve put together a simple method of making Royal Icing for your creations.
- 900g icing sugar
- 4 large egg whites
- 1 1/2 teaspoons glyercin
- Put the eggs into a large bowl and slowly add the icing sugar, little by little. Make sure all the icing sugar has been mixed in before adding more. Continue until you get a thick consistency, that still drops.
- Use an electric whisk until the mixture starts to form peaks and stir in the glycerine.
- You can use food colouring to get it the colour you love!
