Wilko has previously ordered from us in the past and they placed another order for a store opening last week. 500 branded cupcakes with their logo on top delivered to a Shopping Centre in Central London.
The launch was on Tuesday the 16th of January so we made and delivered the cupcakes on Monday the 15th. I did the delivery myself.
The following day I was on my way back from delivering corporate cupcakes to Cardiff in Wales when at 10:45 I get a phone call from Wilko asking if it was possible to make another 500 corporate cupcakes. She explained that our cupcakes were so popular and delicious that they ran out within 45 minutes.
I said of course but she told me they needed them as soon as possible. I told her that I would be calling my baker to see what time we could deliver. Well, I called her back and told her we could re-appropriate another order we were doing at the time and deliver the corporate cupcakes to her by 14:00. After a call to the big bosses, she texted me and said ‘’ Go Go Go on the Corporate cupcakes’’
Our mission was accomplished at 13:15. Yes, the corporate cupcakes were made and delivered in less than 2 hours. (We are based near Milton Keynes)
We love this kind of job and we love it when customers are very surprised with our level of service. This is the advantage of having a bakery dedicated 100% to making corporate and branded cupcakes and doughnuts.
